Today, in Barcelona, the first edition of the #LabImpulsosVerdes Programme was launched, which was born from the collaboration between the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and the Environment, and Ecoembes, the non-profit organisation that cares for the environment through recycling and eco-design of packaging in Spain.
LAB Impulsos Verdes is a social innovation programme to promote collaborative working and learning groups for the creation of green and social companies in the field of prevention, reuse, recycling, eco-design or the circular economy. This programme is developed within the framework of the Red emprendeverde, the first platform specialising in green business aimed at entrepreneurs and investors, whichis co-financed by the European Social Fund.
For 6 months, 18 unemployed people from all over Spain will participate in LAB Impulsos Verdes, which will combine training sessions and collective and individual accompaniment. In addition, they will have the support of consolidated companies.
During the presentation day, the new programme was presented in detail by the entities that promote it and the team of mentors and experts who will guide the participants in this programme. The round table “The opportunities of green and social entrepreneurship” was also held, with the participation of four renowned entrepreneurs in the field of green and social entrepreneurship (Rafael Aparicio, CEO of Biomival and founder of Biomimicry Iberia Association; Mireia Barba, director of Spigoladors; Gastón Villella, partner and director of innovation at Zicla; and Jordi Mayals, founding partner of L’estoc).
