At the meeting we analysed the results obtained in the different areas and new ways of collaboration for the future.

Today we held the annual meeting with the Scientific Societies at our headquarters, with which we have maintained a channel of communication and collaboration since 2016. The purpose of this joint work is to exchange information and knowledge with all those scientific entities interested in the conservation of biological and geological diversity in Spain.

At the meeting we analysed the results obtained in the different areas and new ways of collaboration for the future. We have also reviewed our support for eleven Spanish scientific publications throughout 2018, a formula that we will repeat during 2019 with the aim of integrating biodiversity into scientific knowledge.

The societies attending this meeting were: Spanish Association of Terrestrial Ecology, Spanish Herpetological Association, Iberian Association of Limnology, Spanish Society of Biology and Conservation of Plants, Spanish Society for the Conservation and Study of Mammals, Spanish Society of Ethology and Evolutionary Ecology, Spanish Society of Ornithology, Iberian Society of Ichthyology, Spanish Society of Forest Sciences, Spanish Society for the Study of Grasses, Spanish Association of Entomology, Geological Society of Spain, Spanish Society for the Conservation or Study of Bats and the Spanish Society of Malacology.
