Share on:

The training phase will start on September 12. Those interested can register until August 27.

This programme consists of training, personalised support and exchange of experiences with Portugal and is aimed at 40 entrepreneurs from all over Spain who want to start a new company in the green or blue economy, both individually and collectively.

This initiative, co-financed by the European Social Fund, is developed by the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and its objective is to promote the creation of green and blue companies through social innovation

For the selection of the projects, priority will be given to women, young people up to 35 years of age, over 45, migrants, people with disabilities and residents of protected and/or rural areas throughout the national territory.

Objective: To promote sustainable companies

By promoting the green economy, we are helping to bring out new models of sustainable production and consumption, while generating social and environmental benefits in the territory and favouring the creation of new jobs.

For its part, the blue economy is a concept that refers to an economy based on the sustainable development of the oceans. It contributes to international competitiveness, resource efficiency, job creation and the birth of new sources of growth, safeguarding biodiversity.

International exchange at the Greenfest in Portugal

This programme is made up of training and individualised support, on the one hand, and complementary activities, on the other.

The training, both online and face-to-face, will be carried out through practical and intensive workshops with an innovative methodology, developed and tested at an international level, inspired by the European project SIRCle (Social Innovation for Resilient Communities). For the accompaniment, there will be mentors specialized in the improvement of entrepreneurial skills in the areas of design and management of projects, organizations and teams, marketing and leadership, among others.

Activities of the training itinerary

Complementary activities are based on networking, collaboration and inspiration. Participants will have the opportunity to create synergies with other already consolidated green and blue economy projects through participation in Greenfest, the largest event on sustainability in Portugal, which will take place from 11 to 14 October in Estoril. The aim is to find potential partners or collaborators to develop business ideas, connect with other national and international professionals to increase the network of contacts, learn about inspiring experiences and be part of the ecosystem of the Red emprendeverde, an initiative developed by the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition.

The training phase of the Transnationality and Social Innovation Program for Green and Blue Entrepreneurship will be launched on September 12, when the itinerary of training and scheduled activities will begin. Those interested can register until August 27 (it is recommended to consult the necessary conditions to participate).
