The Biodiversity Foundation launches the third edition of “Green Employment Destination: Find your job from social innovation”, which will take place at the headquarters of the Biodiversity Foundation from December 2, 2019 to January 28, 2020 within actions developed by the Empleaverde Program, co-financed by the European Social Fund.
The sessions will include round tables with experts in the green sector, workshops, group dynamics and other actions in which issues such as the identification of green and blue employment niches, job search techniques in the 4.0 market, resume improvement and simulation of personal interviews, as well as tools to enhance personal branding, will be addressed. among others. In addition, they will serve as a meeting point for participants to get to know and cooperate with each other, promoting networking and the expansion of their professional contact networks for job search.
After this first phase, group support and personalised job guidance sessions will be carried out in which participants will receive additional advice in areas that they believe they need to strengthen. In these sessions, which will last until February 2020, the particular case of each person will be worked on.
Destino Empleo Verde is aimed at unemployed people and priority will be given to women and groups of young people up to 35 years of age, over 45, immigrants, people with disabilities or residents of protected areas and/or rural areas.
The registration period is now open through the empleaverde.es website and will end on November 17.
This new edition of Green Employment Destination is being carried out while the second one is still underway in Malaga through the methodology of the training itineraries of Action Against Hunger. The first edition of this initiative, carried out in 2018, ended successfully as more than 50% of the participants managed to find a job.
With actions such as this, the empleaverde Programme aims to promote the creation of green employment, promoting the just transition towards a low-carbon and circular economy, integrating biodiversity into management and business processes and making more efficient use of natural resources, constituting an engine of sustainable economic growth and social progress.
