From November 21 to 24, the National Environmental Congress, CONAMA 2022, will be held at the Municipal Congress Palace in Madrid. An edition that emphasises the transformation and the impact of the strategies implemented when undertaking the green transformation. Because if the necessary scale and pace are not reached in the face of the current emergency situation we are facing, it will not be possible to achieve the objectives. Hence the slogan chosen for this edition: Lead the transformation. A call to action to all sectors: Administrations, civil society, academia, business, to participate and accelerate the ecological transition. The Biodiversity Foundation participates in various conferences and technical sessions on different areas and with great prominence in the Foundation’s calls for aid within the framework of the RTRP, funded by the EU – NextGenerationEU. Environmental education, renaturalization of cities, changes in lifestyles, promotion of the ecological transition and demographic challenge or the role played by birds as indicators in the ecological transition are some of the topics on which the experts of the Biodiversity Foundation will contribute vision and experience in CONAMA. In addition, the Foundation is organising the Innovative Entrepreneurship Day for the Green Transition, which will be held on Wednesday, 23 November. It will address the potential of innovative entrepreneurship as an ally of the ecological transition, through examples of success of the Emprendeverde Network (REV), an initiative framed in the Empleaverde Programme, co-financed by the European Social Fund. In our events agenda you will find all the information about the events in which we participate, as well as on our Twitter profile @FBiodiversidad, under the hashtag #ProtagonistasCONAMA. The Biodiversity Foundation, in addition, as every year, is in charge of coordinating the stand of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, which is located on the third floor of the Municipal Conference Centre.
