The Spanish Pavilion at COP27 has hosted 45 events with more than 1,200 attendees and nearly 300 participating entities

COP27 in Sharm El-Sheik comes to an end and with it the activity of the Spanish Pavilion that the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge opened to the participation of companies, NGOs, civil society, the scientific and academic sector or public institutions. In total, the Spanish Pavilion has hosted 45 events, in which 292 entities have participated. Of these, 123 belong to the government sector, 49% of them being international, while the rest, 169, have been non-governmental entities, with the business sector, with 67%, being the most represented. The remaining 33% have been social sector entities such as foundations or NGOs. During the two weeks that COP27 lasted, the Pavilion was visited by more than 1,200 people, who came to follow one of the 45 events held. In total, 323 panelists participated, of which 58% were women. In addition, during the celebration of COP27, the Biodiversity Foundation has developed and disseminated different content through its social networks. In total, 92 audiovisual contents have been published, which have achieved a reach of more than 100,000 people, more than 4,300 interactions and more than 17,000 reproductions. The next appointment of this international summit will be in Dubai in autumn 2023.
