January 10, 2020- The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition (MITECO) has launched the Mentoring Emprendeverde service to promote entrepreneurship in the green and blue economy sector. On this occasion, it is a free and personalized mentoring service, offered by the Red emprendeverde (ReV), which aims to be the definitive boost for those projects that are one step away from becoming a company. It is oriented to projects with positive environmental and social impact that are in their last phase of development.
The objective of this action is to provide entrepreneurs with a business idea with the advice and support necessary for them to set up as a company. The mentoring is aimed at supporting and promoting a minimum of 45 entrepreneurs so that they can launch their green companies on the market.
They will be taught by a team of specialized mentors, with extensive experience in green entrepreneurship and who seek to provide support in areas related to the business model, financing, commercialization, marketing and communication, among others. In addition, it will be possible to access mentoring with specialists in specific topics in sectors related to the environment.
This service uses innovative and participatory, results-oriented methodologies and the sessions will be flexible, adapting to the needs and schedules of the participants, so they can be face-to-face or online.
Registration for the service can be done until January 15, 2020 through the http://mentoring.emprendeverde.es website . Los proyectos participantes recibirán seguimiento durante los seis meses posteriores a la finalización del servicio.
With this mentoring, the Biodiversity Foundation aims to support the last phase of entrepreneurship, as well as accelerate its maturation process so that it translates into a real company. To this end, innovative and participatory methodologies are used, with flexible sessions (online or face-to-face). In addition, they will be able to access an online training course to deepen the content covered during the mentoring through videos and other digital resources.
Mentoring Emprendeverde is a further step in the entrepreneurship itinerary that joins other services of the ReV such as the Emprendeverde Labs, innovative laboratories that this year offer personalized training and support, as well as networking opportunities for 100 green entrepreneurs who are in the creation phase of their project.
SUPPORT FROM THE EMPRENDEVERDE NETWORK
The participants in this initiative will be integrated into the ReV Alumni community, which connects the participants of the different actions to establish collaborative relationships with other entrepreneurs.
In addition, they will have access to other benefits for being part of the largest network of green entrepreneurs in Spain, such as the “#ConstituyeTuEmpresaVerde” service, advice on how to set up new green companies or support for growth and maturation (visibility, dissemination, contact with actors in the green entrepreneurship ecosystem, etc.). The Emprendeverde Network it is part of the Empleaverde Programme, co-financed by the European Social Fund, which is coordinated by the MITECO Biodiversity Foundation and is aimed at achieving quality training and employment.
