Call for 1 position of Technician (temporary) for the Economy and Employment Area Azul PRO. TEC.1

- Participate in the preparation of documents associated with calls for subsidies and tenders. Manage the publication process. Resolving doubts to the requesting entities.
- Evaluate the proposals submitted to calls and tenders.
- Train, accompany and assist the beneficiary entities during the presentation, execution, justification and liquidation of the projects.
- Perform the technical and economic follow-up of the execution, justification, liquidation and payment of the projects. Prepare technical evaluation reports and results. Compilation of monitoring, execution and result indicators.
- Perform and follow up on contracting and associated documents.
- Participate in the preparation of the declarations of expenses to be certified to the EC.
- Support the Coordinator in the control and audit processes of the activities carried out.
- Assist in the organization of and participate in meetings and events related to the Area’s activities.
- To elaborate and design action proposals for the fulfillment of the Area’s objectives and for the better performance of the tasks of execution, evaluation, follow-up and control of the projects.
- Update regulations, strategies, plans, programs or projects related to the Area: identification of best practices and activities, preparation of speeches and presentations, participation in publications, etc.
- Prepare documentation and information reports on projects (databases, indicators,
reports, presentations, graphic material, notifications, etc.). - To monitor developments in terms of regulations, strategies, plans, programmes or projects related to the activities of the Area.
- Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
- University degree (also former Diploma and Bachelor’s degree) in the branch of Earth Sciences (Environmental, Biology and others) and/or Social Sciences (Economic, Business, Political and Administration and others).
- Experience of at least 3 years in performing tasks similar to those described above.
- Knowledge of programmes and projects co-financed by the EMFF or other European Structural and Investment Funds.
- Postgraduate degree in subjects related to the marine environment, especially related to the fishing and aquaculture sector, the Public Sector and/or the management of Community Funds.
- Intermediate level of English
- Knowledge of audit procedures for actions co-financed by structural funds

- Temporary interim contract in accordance with current legislation. This procurement will be co-financed by several European funds and obeys the obligation provided for in Regulation 1303/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing common provisions on the ERDF, ESF, Cohesion Fund, EAFRD and EMFF and specifically Article 117.3
- Gross Annual Salary: €25,449.48
- Expected duration: 6 months
