The project seeks to improve the processes of reconversion and restructuring of traditional economic activities and promote the development of new activities in rural areas and areas subject to depopulation of Extremadura.

This initiative aims to promote stable employment, business dynamization and economic and social development, from a sustainable development model that promotes the proper management of natural resources and the conservation of biodiversity in rural areas.

The specific objectives of the project are the following:

• To improve the training of workers and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector in Extremadura.
• To raise awareness and dynamize the territory with the use of new and good business practices in nature tourism and the management of environmental resources.
• To promote the creation of stable employment in the renewable energy sector and green employment in rural areas of the region.
• To promote the sustainability of companies through diversification, modernization and innovation.
• To stimulate the creation of companies that promote their activity in environmental, energy and sustainable actions.
• Diagnose the needs of the tourism, energy, construction and environmental sectors, to know the training needs and generate professional profiles.

To achieve these objectives, training, advice and diagnosis activities will be carried out on resources that can potentially be converted into business initiatives, as well as awareness-raising actions. These activities are aimed at the construction, service and tourism sectors.
