The initiative aims to give continuity and consolidate the environmental awareness program through which the Environmental Education and Interpretation Center was launched in the Al Hoceima National Park.

The initiative aims to give continuity and consolidate the environmental awareness program through which the Environmental Education and Interpretation Center was launched in the Al Hoceima National Park.

This project began thanks to the support, among other organizations, of the Biodiversity Foundation, during the 2009-2010 school year. Considering both the enormous demand from schools and the great impact of the activities carried out, this project aims to establish this type of activity as another practical part of school programs, for which a series of objectives have been set:

• To influence the concrete integration of environmental issues into educational content through the involvement of various actors in this subject
• To complete and finalise the catalogue of pedagogical tools of the centre, betting on diversity.
• To support the implementation of pedagogical activities in schools.

In short, it is a matter of valuing the natural, terrestrial and maritime heritage of the Al Hoceima National Park so that it is better known by the population of the area, especially children in rural areas.
