The initiative seeks to contribute to the promotion of health, raising awareness and offering tools to the sectors identified in the National Plan for the Improvement of Air Quality (PNMCA): residential, industrial and services, institutional, construction, agriculture and livestock, mobility and waste.
Through this project, the ECODES Foundation wants to give continuity to the dissemination work that it has carried out for six years in the electronic newsletter “Health and the Environment”, focusing on a new online magazine, whose theme will be the effects of air quality linked to health.
The star topics will therefore be those related to prevention and health care, especially in relation to the reduction, prevention and control of pollution.
The specific objectives of the initiative are:
- Disseminate the effects and impact of air quality on human health and the tools to improve it, simplifying access to information from different sectors.
- Create synergies between all those involved and identify good practices that serve as models for action.
Within the framework of the project, three monographs of the electronic journal on health and air quality will be published, which will be sent to some 45,000 recipients, in addition to implementing a web platform in which users can be an active part. Good practices for improving air quality provided by users will be analysed and disseminated.
