It seeks to generate innovative employment alternatives within the rural area, through information, training and advice on sustainable forest management, forest certification and social economy.

The workers to whom it is aimed belong to the forestry sector, which is in crisis for different reasons: from the low productivity of the Spanish forests to the strong competitiveness of other countries. A problem that has been aggravated by the passage of Hurricane Klaus in January 2009, which has felled a large number of trees in Spain and the south of France, which has caused a sharp drop in wood prices.

The target audience of the project is forestry and environmental consulting companies, processing companies and importers of forest products, as well as graphic arts companies that use FSC-certified paper.

Those who will receive the training are the self-employed who carry out their work in environmental and forestry consultancy, workers of SMEs and micro-SMEs, architects, quantity surveyors and employees of SMEs, real estate developers and construction companies.
