The project aims to establish a management of the anchorages that occur in the western area of the beach of Illetes and Estany des Peix that contributes to maintaining, conserving and improving the seabed, mainly those where there is posidonia oceanica.

The project aims to establish a management of the anchorages that occur in the western area of the beach of Illetes and Estany des Peix that contributes to maintaining, conserving and improving the seabed, mainly those where there is posidonia oceanica.

More specifically, it is intended to:

• Establish the maximum number of vessels, taking into account current demand and minimizing environmental impacts.
• To order and classify the buoys according to the lengths and their angles of borneo.
• Have a catalogue of ecological buoys, with low environmental impact on the seabed, and that adapt to their different typologies: sandy, rocky or seabed formed by posidonia.
• Initiate a participatory process that includes the opinions and demands of the different agents and resident population, under the condition that these demands achieve the improvement in the conservation of the seabed.
• Define the competencies and governance of the space between the different administrations involved in management.
• Prepare an environmental impact report that certifies the viability of the project, and establishes the corrective measures necessary for the implementation of the project.
• To communicate the natural values of the marine ecosystem to the users of boats anchored on the coast of Formentera and to the agents involved in the provision of tourist services.
