The objective is to raise awareness among workers in the agri-food sector about the impact that their productive activities generate on the environment.

It is also intended to promote technological, economic and social changes that allow the sector to make the development of its activity compatible with the protection of natural resources.

The project is aimed at the key players in the agri-food sector in La Rioja: farmers, livestock breeders, shepherds, and workers in food SMEs and micro-SMEs.

The aim is to increase the number of workers who will apply sustainable techniques and, on the other hand, to improve the economic viability of organic productions. To do this, it is necessary for them to know how ecosystems work, and to be able to assess the impact they have on them.

The use of sustainable production, processing and marketing techniques will be promoted; the development of local markets in the supply of raw materials and in the marketing of processed products and the sustainable consumption of healthy products.
