This initiative aims to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge on energy saving and efficiency on farms, and at the same time to develop the production of biomass for first and second generation biofuels, respecting the biodiversity of agricultural areas.

With the execution of the project, environmental advice will be provided to farmers, ranchers and technical staff of the farms in the province of León, insisting on the importance of energy saving and efficiency.

Field studies will also be carried out on different energy crops and biomass, respecting the biodiversity of the area to be studied.

Finally, agricultural and livestock farms will be advised individually, implementing environmental improvement processes that incorporate existing environmental technological innovations.
