This project aims to carry out a selection of the oak shoots that have grown in the area affected by the fire that took place in Guadalajara in July 2005.

After the fire, the oaks began to resprout intensely, giving rise to an excessively dense forest mass, increasing the risk of new fires and increasing the weakness of the forest to pests and droughts.

With this initiative, a selection of the best shoots will be carried out, to eliminate competition and improve the growth capacity of the healthiest and most vigorous ones. In this way, a better regeneration of the forest affected by the fire is achieved.
