MITECO

The main objective of the project is to improve energy performance in the residential sector and work on the consumption habits of the population to reduce emissions and thus fight climate change.

The main objective of the project is to improve energy performance in the residential sector and work on the consumption habits of the population to reduce emissions and thus fight climate change.

More specifically, it aims to:

  • To encourage citizen participation in local matters.
  • To encourage and bring closer to citizens the interest, on the part of local administrations, of their support and participation.
  • Reduce the level of energy consumption.
  • Carry out dissemination and training actions.
  • To study habits, interest, knowledge and the degree of involvement in the population.

The main planned actions are distributed in the following phases:

  • Phase I: Information among the residents of the municipality of the energy saving and efficiency program and preliminary study of the population.
  • Phase II: Training and dissemination (holding of conferences).
  • Phase III: Carrying out a personalised study by family nucleus.
  • Phase IV: Presentation of results.
