The main objective of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the region of La Hoya, in Huesca, through the involvement of both the rural population and municipal and technical managers.

To this end, it is intended to:

  • To raise awareness among the population about the problem of climate change and the incidence of efficient energy consumption patterns in households and the agricultural and livestock sector.
  • To promote the use of renewable energies in rural areas and the local government sector in particular.

The planned actions are as follows:

  • Publication of informative material on energy saving and efficiency in homes and in the agricultural and livestock sector.
  • Informative talks.
  • Visit to renewable energy facilities.
  • Holding technical conferences on energy efficiency systems and renewable energies.
  • Exhibition of efficient systems.
  • Technical visits.
