The main objective of the project is to rehabilitate and revalue the forest by creating an intermediate space between the urban area and rural areas, providing the city with a leisure space designed with criteria for the promotion of biodiversity and improvement of the landscape.

Specifically, it is intended to:

• To recover a peri-urban green area, very degraded from the landscape and cultural point of view.
• Regenerate, value and increase the biodiversity of this enclave, that is, recover the park’s characteristic ecosystem.
• Increase birdlife, taking care of the tree and shrub species to be planted and placing nests that complete the shelter and nesting needs of those birds that require closed structures for this purpose.
• Mitigate greenhouse gas emissions by increasing the city’s tree mass as a CO2 “sink”.
