The project consists of the ecological restoration of the Amunátegui stream basin in the Axpe neighbourhood (Busturia), within the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve (Vizcaya) by means of the river stewardship tool.

To achieve this objective, the following actions are carried out:

• Bibliographic and cartographic compilation of vegetation units.
• On-site review of the area.
• Determination of age in the case of forest crops.
• Development of an assessment methodology based on the different environmental parameters.
• Analysis and diagnosis of the information collected.
• Drafting of proposals for the future.
• Preparation of materials and information program for local society.
• Drafting of a strategic plan for the creek.
