In order to raise awareness, disseminate and sensitize society about the importance of conserving natural heritage and promoting rural development, a documentary and other audiovisual materials will be produced on the wetlands of Spain.
The main objective of the project is the production of a 20-minute documentary, as well as three short programmes for the internet and mobile phones, and a one-minute advertorial for television and public screens. The material is intended for all audiences so it will be prepared with a pleasant and attractive tone, always maintaining scientific rigor.
The documentary will take a tour of the landscapes and vegetation present in the wetlands, also offering underwater images and shots of the birds and endangered species that inhabit these ecosystems. A version will be made in Spanish and another in English.
The piece will show the most significant processes and episodes of six locations that represent the different types of Spanish wetlands: the Ebro Delta, Albufera de Valencia, Marismas de Doñana, Saladares del Cabo de Gata, Santoña, and the Lagoons of Gallocanta and Villafáfila.
