The project continues a line initiated in previous years, supporting the Antidote Program to fight venom in the natural environment, both in Spain and Portugal, as well as the National Strategy against the Use of Venom.

The project continues a line initiated in previous years, supporting the Antidote Program to fight venom in the natural environment, both in Spain and Portugal, as well as the National Strategy against the Use of Venom.

In addition, the foundations are laid for the effective dissemination of information, actions and results at national and European level.

Among the actions contemplated are the following:

• Establishment of the European Secretariat for the Antidote Programme and Action Plan against Poison in Europe.
• Maintenance, management and dissemination in Spain of the SOS VENENO free telephone number.
• Filing of complaints and judicial appearances.
• Toxicological analysis service.
• Publication of a map on the use of poison in the Iberian Peninsula.
