The project provides for the creation of the Documentation Centre of the Menorca Biosphere Reserve as a structure for the organisation and conservation of its documentary heritage.

The project provides for the creation of the Documentation Centre of the Menorca Biosphere Reserve as a structure for the organisation and conservation of its documentary heritage.

The documents produced, received and gathered by the Island Council of Menorca and the Menorcan Institute of Studies, in whatever their material medium, will form part of this centre.

The Documentation Centre of the Menorca Biosphere Reserve will be set up as a support unit for research, teaching and the dissemination of the economic, social and environmental values of the reserve among the general public. It will have an archival system created using effective management and description tools for its location and retrieval.
