The main objective of the project is to improve the conservation status of vulture populations in Mallorca, Spain and Europe.

The main objective of the project is to improve the conservation status of vulture populations in Mallorca, Spain and Europe.

Specifically, it is intended to:

  • To increase social awareness about the conservation of vultures, through the improvement and development of the BVCF Educational Programme in the Son Pons centre.
  • To ensure the management and improve the maintenance of the zoological nucleus, as this is a key element in various conservation projects in Spain and Europe.

The planned actions are as follows:

  • Complete the construction of an observatory of irrecoverable vultures.
  • Prepare informative material.
  • Improve the educational offer through the web.
  • Rehabilitate and manage the facilities of the centre’s zoological nucleus.
