Through the initiative, the past, present and future situation of the Aché community of Paraguay will be studied in their relationship with the forest, for their recognition as a people.

Through the initiative, the past, present and future situation of the Aché community of Paraguay will be studied in their relationship with the forest, for their recognition as a people.

Information and communication technologies will be integrated into their culture, designing a website to strengthen their communication and position in society.

Another objective is to advise and support the initiation of a management plan for the farm recently acquired by the Kuchingui clan, favoring their autonomy in the forest and agricultural lands.

The specific actions planned are the following:

  • Previous research, diagnosis and recommendations.
  • Production of an audiovisual documentary on the Aché ethnic group.
  • ICT integration. Training of three Aché indigenous people for the management of the website.
  • Management plan for the administration of their lands, through an inventory of natural resources, a management plan, a management plan and a community development plan.
