The SILMAR project is an action of permanent surveillance and custody of the underwater heritage of the Mediterranean coast, with the participation of civil society, companies and social organizations linked to the use, management and conservation of the marine environment.

The SILMAR project is an action of permanent surveillance and custody of the underwater heritage of the Mediterranean coast, with the participation of civil society, companies and social organizations linked to the use, management and conservation of the marine environment.

This project, which initiates and promotes marine stewardship in the Iberian Peninsula, aims to characterise certain pilot marine areas and determine their degree of environmental quality, in order to subsequently extend the experience to the entire Mediterranean coast.
