The aim of this project is to train and raise awareness among the population of Paderne about the value of the protected natural areas in the area and to encourage their participation in environmental education activities, as well as to promote the development of sustainable leisure activities.

The aim of this project is to train and raise awareness among the population of Paderne about the value of the protected natural areas in the area and to encourage their participation in environmental education activities, as well as to promote the development of sustainable leisure activities.

The following activities are aimed at these objectives:

• Installation of environmental interpretation signs on a hiking route, in Mandeo, and in the area of influence of the Betanzos estuary.
• A 12-hour botany course, through which the flora of the riverside and intertidal forest and marshes will be studied.
• 12-hour ornithology course with observation in the marsh area, a regular stop for birds during the course period.
