The objective of this project is to draw up the Strategic and Action Plan of the Terres de l’Ebre Biosphere Reserve, declared on 27 May 2013. This Plan will establish a sustainability framework and a series of lines of action to promote the conservation of the natural and socio-cultural values validated by the declaration within UNESCO’s MaB Programme.

The preparation of the Plan will include a first phase of planning: organization of the drafting team, time horizon, scope, contents; a diagnosis focused on the aspects that will be included in the plan; a definition of the objectives and strategic axes and a definition of programmable and non-programmable actions. The entire process, and especially the last three activities, will have a strong participatory component of the agents of the territory involved in order to achieve a consensual strategic document.
