This project aims to create an online application to make the censuses of waterbirds in Spain available to the public.

The Spanish Ornithological Society (SEO/BirdLife) has launched the project “Creation of an online application for computerization and consultation of data on wintering waterbirds in Spain” with the aim of creating an application to make available to the public the censuses of waterbirds in Spain. This tool aims to facilitate the management of the natural environment for all administrations, companies and individuals and to facilitate public access to the public information generated by the censuses of waterbirds, provided that they are non-sensitive species.

To this end, some of the activities carried out within the framework of this project are:

• Application Programming
• Functional checks
• Data Computerization

An application has been obtained to computerize the data of exotic birds detected in Spanish territory that works through one of the SEO/BirdLife working groups from a web application and from mobile devices or tablets. It is a free application that works on Android and Iphone.
