The Forum of Land Stewardship Networks and Entities (FRECT) is developing a project to bring land stewardship closer to AGE staff.

The Forum of Land Stewardship Networks and Entities (FRECT) is developing the project “Institutional approach for the promotion of land stewardship in the field of the General State Administration” with the support of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and the Environment.

In recent years, the General State Administration (AGE) has shown a growing interest in land stewardship and other tools for involving citizens in public policies.

As a result of this work, a fundamental objective arises to bring land stewardship closer to the technical staff of the different departments, agencies and institutions of the AGE that can contribute to an adequate development and legal-administrative fit. To this end, a series of activities are being carried out: theoretical and practical training, exchange of experiences, and the holding of a continuous forum for work and learning. All these activities are aimed at finding common and innovative formulas to conserve natural heritage through public-private collaboration.

Although the actions of the project are being developed in Madrid as the project is aimed at the General State Administration, it is expected that its results will have an impact on other autonomous communities.
