The objective is to train workers of SMEs and the self-employed for the habilitation of new infrastructures and the rehabilitation of existing ones, in order to take advantage of the pastures that are currently not being exploited.
The recipients of this initiative belong to a wide range of professions directly linked to the forestry or rural field such as construction, assembly and wood protection companies, carpentry, livestock farmers, local shepherds and forest employees.
The project will carry out a series of actions that will contribute to the promotion of nature conservation through the rational use of resources, creating and maintaining landscapes and allowing the maintenance of historical-cultural practices that are in danger of disappearing.
These actions seek to dignify and promote the profession of shepherd to avoid the exodus of the population from rural areas, thus collaborating with sustainable rural development. Likewise, the training provided will allow students to acquire knowledge of pastoral management associated with the forestry field.
