The overall objective of ECOOESE is to promote cooperation, energy savings and efficiency through the presentation of energy services to organisations interested in reducing their energy costs.

The project serves to identify the existing business opportunities in Extremadura in terms of energy saving and efficiency, in order to achieve a catalogue that serves as a guide for companies dedicated to this type of activity.

Through an awareness campaign aimed at workers from traditional sectors and organizations with significant energy consumption, the aim is to inform about the importance of energy efficiency and saving, in such a way as to generate greater awareness. In addition, after an in-depth analysis of the organizations that in Extremadura have the greatest potential for savings, mainly through the generation of thermal energy from renewable sources, 40 entities are visited to which a prior audit will be carried out and for those that request it, a more in-depth study will be carried out on the existing savings possibilities in the facilities for which they are responsible. as well as an economic and financial study on necessary investments and amortization periods.

The target audience of the project is workers belonging to traditional sectors: agriculture and construction; energy sector: energy saving and efficiency, renewable energies, environmental services to companies or entities; environmental sector: environmental education and information; forest management, management and treatment of biomass waste; health, hospitality and education sector.

This project is intended to reach 975 workers, of which 75 will receive training. Likewise, it is expected to implement energy saving and efficiency actions by 4 Extremadura centers participating in the project.
