The general objective of the project is the creation and development of high value-added companies, the improvement of the business fabric and the consolidation of companies already created in the green sector, allowing their advances to be reverted to society and to increase the number of employees in the sector.
B-Able contributes its expertise in the creation and management of Technology-Based Companies (EBTs) of nanotechnology and biotechnology in the environment, adapting to each entrepreneur or company depending on their needs and the status of the project in a very flexible way, either by participating in the company or by providing advisory or management services.
The creation of cleantech-intensive EBTs or the opening of a new innovative business line require long-term investment, as the time needed for the initial technological development to gain value before being transferred or exploited is long.
B-Able helps to cover this phase of development by effectively attracting private and public investment, accelerating the development of technologies and making the project revalued. It also trains employees by disseminating advances in the sector, giving strategic advice and favoring relationships between companies so that they are effectively consolidated.
The recipients of the project “From technology to green enterprise” are:
- Entrepreneurs in the environmental sector who seek advice on the creation of companies and evaluation of ideas. Among them, students of training cycles and universities of related degrees.
- Employees, owners of SMEs and micro-SMEs or freelancers in the environmental sector and business development specialists who are looking for ways to improve their business or expand their training.
- Employees, owners of SMEs and micro-SMEs or self-employed people not directly related to the environmental sector but interested in the implementation of clean technologies in their company.
- Unemployed people who have developed their professional life in any of the above cases.
- Researchers specialising in green technologies who are considering setting up a company in the environmental sector.
This project will provide training to 275 recipients, although the initiative will reach a total of 808 workers. In addition, there will be an increase in the number of companies created in the environmental sector and technology will be brought closer to traditional green companies, making them more research-related and therefore innovating.
