The objective of the project is to achieve the compatibility of agricultural activity and wildlife, seeking the maintenance and generation of economic activities based on activities focused on sustainability.
The direct recipients are farmers and ranchers who are either simply interested in this issue, or suffer attacks by wildlife and want to make their activity compatible with biodiversity.
The project foresees the creation of a guide that is based on the defence of values such as sustainable development and environmental conservation, making the economic viability of the farms compatible. The publication will address issues of recognition, prevention and action against animal attacks. In addition, it will contain advice and recommendations on good practices for the compatibility of the agricultural space and the different species considered a threat to agricultural activity.
Likewise, an advisory service will be created to analyse and review the issues raised by the farmer and livestock breeder when it comes to making their activity compatible with wildlife. In this way, the particular needs of each farm and each territory can be met and information will be provided on the most environmentally compatible agricultural practices, promoting sustainable agriculture.
