This training project is aimed at women from rural areas, workers in SMEs, self-employed, farmers and livestock breeders, mainly from the province of Cádiz, although with the possibility of including women from other provinces of Andalusia.
The general objective of the project is the training of rural women and the creation of a permanent advisory service for them, in order to promote female employment in the agricultural and livestock sectors, through the creation of companies based on ecological and sustainability principles. It also seeks to fix the population in rural areas, reconcile family and work life, and break down existing imbalances in terms of gender equality.
The aim is to promote the participation of women in a sector in which business activity is currently focused on the production phases, without farmers and livestock breeders being involved in the transformation and marketing phases, and therefore do not benefit from the added value that these phases represent.
