Support for entrepreneurship in sustainable mobility through the promotion of collaboration (CO-EMPLEO in sustainable mobility)

Empleaverde program

The CO-EMPLEO project in sustainable mobility seeks to support entrepreneurship in the field of sustainable mobility by developing new services based on collaborative consumption and the intersection of existing businesses.

The CO-EMPLEO project in sustainable mobility seeks to support entrepreneurship in the field of sustainable mobility by developing new services based on collaborative consumption and the intersection of existing businesses.

With this initiative, the Sustainable and Safe Mobility Foundation (FMSS) seeks to be a benchmark for all those interested in entrepreneurship in the field of sustainable mobility, providing them with new knowledge and communication of experiences through the collaborative network that will be created in the project and that will grow in the future.

The FMSS considers it very important to promote the collaborative spirit through joint advice and the creation of the network, since it will provide support both in the first steps of the creation of the company and throughout the life of the business and professional initiative of the workers.

The objectives of the CO-EMPLEO project in sustainable mobility are:

  • To support entrepreneurship in sustainable mobility.
  • Improve worker training.
To support workers and employers to develop sustainable mobility initiatives, taking advantage of the synergies that arise in new sources of employment related to the improvement of mobility.

In this way, the project aims to publicize experiences and possibilities in the creation of new business initiatives and new possible lines of work, which lead others to collaborate in the implementation of new experiences.

The recipients of CO-EMPLEO are independent professionals, entrepreneurs and workers of SMEs and micro-enterprises, with entrepreneurial concerns or with an interest in learning about new lines of work and experiences in sustainable mobility. It is aimed at workers in sectors that are at potential risk of losing jobs, related or not to the sustainable mobility sector, in order to advise and guide them in entrepreneurship in new sources of employment in the sustainable mobility sector. Special attention will be paid to women, people over 45 years of age, disabled people and immigrants.

The results that will be achieved with the project are:

  • Training of 122 recipients, although the project will reach a total of 857 workers.
  • Creation of 8 companies in sustainable mobility.
  • Reduction, thanks to the customers of sustainable mobility companies, of the emission of 660 tonnes of CO2.
