OBJECTIVE

Increasing entrepreneurial skills in the agroforestry sector


DESCRIPTION

The project, called “Training, advice and exchange of good practices for entrepreneurship in non-timber forest products (NWFP)”, is developed by the Sustainable Development and Promotion of Rural Employment Group (ADESPER). It is supported by the Empleaverde Programme of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge and is co-financed by the European Social Fund.

It is intendedto increase the entrepreneurial skills of 400 people from various territories: Andalusia, Castilla y León, Asturias, Cantabria, Galicia and Extremadura. The contents taught, referring to the agroforestry sector, are focused on chestnut trees, mycological uses, nuts, red fruits and beekeeping. Contains a total 19 actions, distributed as follows:

  • 4 mixed training courses (160 hours face-to-face and 270 hours remote).
  • 1 face-to-face training (90 hours).
  • 1 mixed counselling and accompaniment (30 hours face-to-face and 60 hours remotely).
  • 1 meeting (8 face-to-face hours).
  • 9 distance training (360 hours).
  • 3 remote counselling and support (270 hours).


GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION

Andalusia, Castilla y León, Asturias, Cantabria, Galicia and Extremadura.
