The training project Don’t Leave a Footprint, granted to CETENMA by the Biodiversity Foundation with the support of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, aims to promote the Calculation and Registration of the Carbon Footprint of companies and public administrations in the Region of Murcia and Andalusia. This project also has the collaboration of the City Council of Murcia and the City of Cartagena.
To this end, CETENMA has designed a complete and powerful programme divided into three social innovation actions:
Awareness of the business sector about the benefits associated with CH, in terms of environmental responsibility, economic benefits and competitive improvement in the markets. Dialogue on good practices in the most representative economic sectors. Employability opportunities oriented towards the Carbon Footprint.
Specialised training for the unemployed in carbon footprint calculation, registration in the national register and CO2 emission reduction plans. The sessions will combine theoretical aspects with practical face-to-face classes for solving real cases, and distance training.
Training breakfasts with municipal technicians and the unemployed. Resolution of a practical case of calculation of the Carbon Footprint of a Public Administration. The unemployed will know first-hand the casuistry of these studies.
