BIO-EDUCATION: “Environmental Awareness and Education”

Environmental education must be a true school of thought in which actions are promoted that contribute to understanding the causes of the different problems, both natural and social, present in the context. This requires the generation of lines of work for the study of various situations, in addition to an analysis of the history of the socio-political and economic processes that have generated the deterioration of the environment and natural resources that contributes to the redirection of the ways of thinking and acting in relation to the environment. To develop this idea, the project has a phase of training university graduates and unemployed people, for the subsequent hiring for six months, of ten of these people.

The Bio-Education project is divided into 6 projects, which are detailed below:
–Project No. 1: Environmental education training sessions.
-Project No. 2: Trainer of environmental trainers.
-Project No. 3: Environmental awareness of City Council technicians in environmentally sensitive areas.
-Project No. 4: Planning of itineraries and leading groups for environmental awareness of the natural environment of Benalmádena.
-Project No. 5: Environmental awareness days.
-Project No. 6: Green points: location, signage and dissemination of selective collection points.
