We support the entrepreneurial sector with new training and advisory actions

The Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) continues to promote the green entrepreneurship sector, and does so now by offering free training actions for numerous entrepreneurs to acquire new skills and knowledge to promote their sustainable business ideas.

Thus, the Constitutes #TuEmpresaVerde advisory and training service, launched by the Emprendeverde Network of the Empleaverde Programme and co-financed by the European Social Fund, has just launched its third edition. It is a free training and advice service that aims to promote new green companies. The initiative advises entrepreneurs who want to set up a green company (company or self-employed). Constitu#TuEmpresaVerde has advised more than 100 businesses during its first two editions.

On the other hand, the online training cycle Emprendeverde Itineraries, whose registration to be part of its second edition is currently open, supports and accompanies entrepreneurs who wish to launch a business with a positive impact on the environment. In the first edition, it was possible to support 189 participants who acquired skills that allowed them to improve their skills to promote their business idea. Through webinars, training modules, networking sessions and an innovative methodology, this training cycle seeks to reinforce theoretical knowledge through its implementation.

Depending on the degree of maturity of the project, entrepreneurs will be able to enroll in three different levels: Ideation, for those who want to start shaping their business idea; Creation, for those who have a business idea that they need to mature and strengthen; and Alumni, for those who have already been trained in one of the network’s itineraries, but who need to give their business a final boost. To facilitate greater work-life balance and flexibility, it will be possible to choose between a more participatory modality and another without schedules.

THE LARGEST GREEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMMUNITY

The Emprendeverde Network is made up of more than 10,000 people, making up the largest green entrepreneurship network in Spain. All members of this community can benefit from various free actions aimed at strengthening and growing their sustainable business, as well as ensuring an optimal development of their activity.

The context of the climate crisis and the recent crisis and the effects of COVID-19 have led to a rethinking of the economic model and the need to carry out a reconversion towards a just and green transition. All the actions developed by the Emprendeverde Network seek to adapt and train entrepreneurs in new jobs and business ideas related to sustainability, providing new opportunities and a positive impact on the environment. The aim of these services is to promote the start-up of viable and more resilient new companies, which contribute to a green recovery, the conservation of biodiversity and to promote a fairer ecological transition. The people who participate in these actions will also have the support of the Network to disseminate their project.
