Within the framework of the calls for grants executed by the Biodiversity Foundation and the projects it carries out, the selected person will perform the following functions:

  • Assist in the design, planning and monitoring of actions of the Bioeconomy Area of the Biodiversity Foundation and in the supervision and organisation of the work team.
  • Participate in the preparation of regulatory bases, calls for proposals, models, forms, specifications and procedures that are designed as tools to promote projects and aid for agroecological transition and sustainable territorial development.
  • Promote that the projects managed allow progress towards the agroecological transition, benefit biodiversity and generate impact transformations, as well as work for the coordination and generation of synergies between the projects financed by the FB.
  • Support and participate in the evaluation process and in the realization of the proposal evaluation committees.
  • Carry out and coordinate the technical and economic monitoring of the projects and the procedures for technical monitoring, justification, settlement and payment.
  • Prepare technical reports for the different phases of monitoring and justification during the execution of the projects.
  • Contribute to the area’s report and prepare reports and notes on progress, situation, positioning, indicators and results of the activities carried out or specific topics in the area.
  • Support in the preparation of documentation and allegations for the General Intervention of the State Administration (IGAE), the Court of Auditors (TC) and third parties.
  • Support in the preparation of documentation and material necessary for communication, representation and participation in forums and events.
  • Organize and/or participate in internal and external meetings, working groups and events and deliver presentations on assigned topics and activities.
  • Contribute in the strategic definition processes and processes of improvement and better performance of the Area tasks.
  • Keep abreast of the most relevant technical, strategic and political issues and framework in relation to the subject matter of the projects managed.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
  • Higher university degree (Bachelor’s Degree or former Bachelor’s Degrees and Diplomas).
  • Professional experience of at least five years in management and coordination of projects and/or initiatives related to sustainability, especially in the agricultural field.
  • At least three years of experience in team management.
  • Advanced English proficiency (Level C1 or higher).
  • University degrees such as Agricultural / Agricultural Engineering, or specialisations in the field of good practices and sustainability of the agricultural and livestock sector.
  • Experience of working or collaborating with entities in the agricultural and/or livestock sector and/or participation in projects and initiatives related to the implementation of good agricultural practices, regenerative agriculture, aid schemes for agricultural diversification to promote water saving and improvement of biodiversity, etc.
  • At least three years of experience in the management of calls for proposals for grants and public funds.
  • Knowledge or work in the public sector or in the Public Sector Contracts Law and the General Subsidies Law.
  • Immediate availability.
  • Temporary contract (interim until definitive coverage by the Replacement Rate) in accordance with current legislation, with the professional category of BOSS.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €41,467.82.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Initially scheduled duration: February 2028.
