The general objective of the project is to offer job opportunities to people with disabilities in a growing sector such as the ecological and sustainable sectors. Due to the current climate situation, these jobs are in high demand, both in the present and in the near future, by companies dedicated to this field.

Specifically, each line of the project has its own objectives, the first of which intends to train professionals capable of advising on the comprehensive management of energy in homes, covering multidisciplinary knowledge on energy markets. At the end of the course, students will be able to coordinate and direct energy audit processes in homes, making them a more ecological and sustainable place.

In the second line, specific training will be carried out to promote the socio-occupational inclusion of people with disabilities, preparing them to play an active role in gardening and urban sustainability projects. In this training, participants will develop technical skills of the trade, such as land preparation, sowing, irrigation, planting, pruning, fertilisation and maintenance of green areas, through adapted dynamics that enhance autonomy and active participation.

Finally, the Sustainable Entrepreneurship course will be dedicated to disabled people with their own business now or in the near future. In this sense, the training is eminently practical, providing students with knowledge and tools so that they can turn their business models into circular ones. As they are operating businesses, the training will be purely practical, taking the contents to each of them, promoting the individuality of the latter.

In a general and transversal way, all courses aim to deal with issues of equality between men and women, delving into terms such as the “glass ceiling” or “sticky floor”. In addition, it also enhances communication skills, teamwork, emotional intelligence…

The project will offer three courses free of charge in the fields of: energy consultancy, gardening, trees and plant envelopes and finally in sustainable entrepreneurship.

The first of them is dedicated to training unemployed people in the energy sector, providing skills in comprehensive energy advice in homes, promoting responsible consumption. Participants will have the opportunity to join the labour market as energy managers and advisors in numerous important companies in our country.

The gardening line is aimed at the same group of people as above, providing them with skills in the design and maintenance of green spaces. Emphasis will be placed on sustainable gardening, tree management and installation of plant envelopes. This area also offers career opportunities in a booming sector due to the adaptation of the environment to the urban environment. They will obtain skills to be an urban tree technician, gardening laborer, landscaping assistant, exterior designer…

Finally, we will provide a course to entrepreneurs to make their business a more sustainable place, giving knowledge in circular economy, energy efficiency and sustainable mobility. Promoting the transition from linear economy to circular, reduce, reuse and recycle. As we are active people, we offer online training at a national level dedicated exclusively to the practical effects of your own businesses.
