Nature Hub: Renaturation of Agricultural and Livestock Ecosystems

Nature Hub launches an innovation and resource hub to renature agricultural ecosystems, promoting regenerative, holistic practices and nature-based solutions, in order to improve the key competencies for the ecological transition of the recipients.

The Hub will offer training, advice and communities of practice to different occupations identified as priorities for the ecological transition, in the 5 autonomous communities in which the project is being developed:

  1. Regenerative Agriculture (sustainable and/or organic farmer).
  2. Regenerative livestock farming (livestock farmer specialising in sustainable and/or ecological farming).
  3. Nature-Based Solutions Consultant

The aim of the Nature Hub is to renature agricultural ecosystems, promoting regenerative, holistic practices and nature-based solutions, in order to improve the key competences for the ecological transition of the recipients.

The aim is to contribute to the production of quality regenerative, sustainable and/or ecological agricultural and livestock products and to transmit approaches and processes that use the principles of nature to solve problems of agricultural and livestock management: adaptation to climate change, resource management, water, food security, air and soil quality, etc., in order to improve quality employment in rural areas in the face of the ecological transition.

The following will be implemented:

  • 90 distance training actions through the e-learning platform, for active and unemployed professionals. Around four blocks:
  1. Holistic management in the livestock sector.
  2. Regenerative and/or sustainable livestock farming.
  3. Regenerative agriculture.
  4. Nature-based solutions.
  • 15 accompaniments/advice for labor insertion and entrepreneurship.
  • 40 communities of practice. Face-to-face actions aimed at the unemployed and workers, for the use of the knowledge acquired in training and networking among participants.

A total of 700 net participants (unemployed and working people) will be reached, through the following actions:
