PRTR Call for Proposals Project
JMOLTO LT, S.L. has as its main activity the provision of services of finishing, sizing, printing and dyeing of fabrics. The project is located in Concentaina (Alicante). The project seeks to establish a new textile finishing process focused mainly on articles with water and water/oil repellency (upholstery or table linen) in which chemicals containing PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are reduced in the formulation by: – Technological adaptations of current equipment and study of current finishing chemicals to determine which of them have the highest PFAS content; Reformulation of new textile finishing recipes.-Analysis of the situation in the treatment plant and study of critical points and levels of PFAS in water;-Development of new reformulated processes and validate both the properties of fabrics obtained with the new process and the quality of the wastewater.
