Lead actions of the Biodiversity Foundation within the framework of the RTRP and the ERDF, in the areas of management, training and training of the marine Natura 2000 Network, achieving a transformative impact on the target audiences.

  • To plan, technically, economically and financially manage projects in the field of the marine Natura 2000 Network.
  • Assist the Area Coordination in the proposal of actions, organizing and supervising the work team and the external assistance contracted.
  • To monitor the technical and economic implementation of projects, including communication and dissemination activities; Prepare proposals for improvement and contribution to the better performance of the tasks of evaluation, monitoring and control of the projects.
  • To carry out the planning of tenders; Participate in the technical design and in the preparation of specifications, forms, and associated procedures.
  • Analyze and present information collected from various sources on the themes of the projects; to prepare technical and informative reports generating value for society in general and biodiversity managers in particular; to monitor developments in the state of the art and in terms of strategies, plans, regulations, programmes or projects related to the area of the projects; to prepare reports for Coordination/Sub-Directorate/Directorate; prepare and supervise the preparation of written results (write notes and background papers, analyses, sections of reports and studies, contributions to publications, interventions, etc.).
  • Organize communication and participation activities: workshops, conferences and all kinds of events, including the proposal of agenda items, the identification of participants, the preparation of documents and presentations, the logistics of the event, etc.; identify and disseminate good practices and activities, prepare speeches and presentations; participate in the preparation of publications, produce summaries and reports of activities and results, disseminate the program on the web and on social media; to represent the Areas in meetings, events and external acts and to contribute to activities to disseminate the projects at a national and international level; make presentations on assigned topics and activities.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree (also former Diplomatura and Licenciatura).
  • Professional experience of at least five years in management and coordination of projects related to the environment.
  • Advanced English proficiency (Level C1 or higher).
  • Experience in managing sustainability-related training activities of at least 3 years.
  • Experience of at least 3 years in management of marine Natura 2000 Network management projects.
  • 3 years of experience in European project management.
  • Experience in the public sector or in the Public Sector Contracts Law and the General Subsidies Law.
  • Immediate availability.
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of HEAD.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €42,712.87
  • Maximum expected duration: until December 2029.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
