Develop actions aimed at the conservation of biodiversity, climate change and/or the ecological transition
within the framework of the European Partnerships linked to Horizon Europe and other international initiatives in which the Biodiversity Foundation (FB) and MITECO participate, as well as in other initiatives related to the work of the FB in the management of the Structural Funds (EMFAF, ESF+ and
ERDF).

• To support the Coordination and the Deputy Directorate in the proposal of actions, planning and monitoring of the execution of projects and their actions.
• Participate in the review of technical documents, calls and projects related to European Partnerships and other international initiatives developed by the FB.
• Participate in the design, programming and execution of reports and activities of an international nature related to the mission of the FB.
• Participate in the processes of preparing BBRR and calls and their publication, as well as in the execution, monitoring, settlement and payment of files linked to the calls in which the FB participates in the field of international partnerships and other calls for Structural Funds
managed by the FB.
• Participate in the monitoring and design of activities at the international level, related to the international agreements to which Spain is a signatory, the Sustainable Development Goals or other initiatives or conferences coordinated by the United Nations World Organization, such as those on climate and biodiversity.
• Participate in the design and organization of forums, seminars and/or conferences with an international character and attendance at international events organized by third parties.
• Participate in the design and delivery of informative activities and training aimed at the beneficiary entities
of the calls or specific audiences.
• Resolve doubts of the beneficiary entities during the execution and justification of the projects financed through calls.
• Participate in the preparation, design and technical and economic evaluation of the contracting of the area and the sub-directorate.
• Collaborate in the preparation of documents and reports related to the FB’s performance as an intermediate body of European Funds (such as ERDF, ESF+ and EMFAF).
• Monitor developments in terms of regulations, strategies and plans.
• Prepare technical proposals for action.
• Participate in the compilation of dissemination and impact indicators of projects and events and propose updates.
• Propose and develop content for the FB’s websites and social media profiles.
• Carry out the monitoring, closure and settlements of projects and verifications derived from the Regulations that regulate the European Structural and Investment Funds and the European Partnerships
.
• Any other function entrusted by the Coordination or the Sub-Directorate.

• University Degree (also former Diplomas and Bachelor’s Degrees).
• Experience of at least three years in the management of activities and/or projects of an international nature.
• Experience of at least two years in the monitoring and implementation of R+D+i initiatives at the international level, especially in Europe and/or in research, environmental conservation or cooperation projects in Latin America and/or Africa.
• High English proficiency (C1)
• Availability to travel to national and international events. This condition must be expressly indicated in the CV.

• Experience of at least 1 year in or for the public sector.
• Knowledge of project management tools.
• Knowledge of French.
• Accredited knowledge of languages other than French and English.
• Postgraduate training in subjects related to conservation, sustainable management and/or development cooperation.

• Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union funds (fifth additional provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of FIRST TECHNICIAN.
• Location of the position: headquarters of the Biodiversity Foundation in Madrid.
• Gross Annual Salary: €33,373.05.
• Maximum expected duration: until 31/12/2029
