Presentation of the results of the LIFE Marbled Teal project

Celebration of the day of presentation of the results of the LIFE Marbled Teal project “Coordinated actions for the recovery of the marbled teal (Marmaronetta angustirostris), which has had as its objective to improve the conservation status of 3,000 hectares of wetlands to reverse the risk of extinction of the most endangered duck in Europe.
La Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) has coordinated this project in which the the ministry itself through the Segura Hydrographic Confederation and Tragsatec; the Regional Government of Andalusia, through the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and the Environment and Water Agency, M.P.; the Generalitat Valencianto; the Region of Murcia and the organizations SEO/BirdLife and ANSE. It has the financial contribution from the European Union’s LIFE Programme and MITECO’s Directorate-General for Water.
