Legal Headquarters (temporary) of the Area of Conservation and Restoration of Ecosystems

Provide legal advice on the implementation of the LIFE HumedalES project (see annex I) and other projects with European funding from the Area of Conservation and Restoration of Ecosystems.

  • Preparation, follow-up and control of contracting processes.
  • Legal support on issues subject to consultation, carrying out studies and legal opinions on any matter that may be requested.
  • Carrying out or providing legal advice on land acquisitions and legal procedures for the execution of works.
  • Review of works, studies or reports commissioned by the FB of a legal nature.
  • Advice on the implementation of land stewardship agreements.
  • Preparation of reports, databases or any information requested in the management of contracts.
  • Drafting of contracting files, specifications, minutes, reports, contracts, agreements, collaboration agreements or other legal documents.
  • Drafting of guides, manuals, protocols or rules of a legal nature.
  • Preparation of information reports to the Court of Auditors, IGAE, Ministry of Finance, Transparency Portal and any other requested information on assigned projects.
  • Transfer to the computer system for the integral management of data related to the contracting of assigned projects
  • Preparation of modifications related to contracts, whether legal, budgetary or financing issues.
  • Support in adapting processes to the needs of assigned projects
  • Attendance at meetings of the Legal Counsel and General Services area and general support to the legal area in matters entrusted to it in connection with the aforementioned projects.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-Directorate and/or Directorate
  • University Degree (also former Diplomas and Licenciaturas) in Law (homologated in Spain).
  • Training in Environmental Law.
  • At least two years of experience in drafting contracting files, specifications, minutes, reports, contracts, agreements, collaboration agreements or other legal documents related to projects.
  • Experience of at least two years in the implementation of LIFE projects or others with European funding.
  • At least two years of experience in legal counseling in or for the public sector.
  • Complementary training in matters related to the activities to be carried out: Law on Subsidies, Law on Public Sector Contracts, Law on Forced Expropriation, among others.
  • Intellectual property training.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of HEAD.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €42,712.87.
  • Maximum expected duration: until March 2036.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
