Drafting, supervising and monitoring wetland and coastal marsh restoration projects within the framework of the LIFE Wetlands project (see annex 1)

  • Drafting and supervision of technical specifications of contracts for the drafting of projects and execution of works related to wetland restoration by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge
  • Drafting, review and technical control of environmental and construction projects, including ecological restoration, hydrological reconnection, revegetation and sediment management.
  • Processing and technical support in Environmental Impact Assessment procedures.
  • Supervision and monitoring of works: control of executed units, reports, incidents and quality.
  • Management of GIS, CAD and digital tools. Application of basic notions of artificial intelligence in data and image analysis.
  • Coordination with administrations (Coastal Demarcations, CH, Autonomous Communities, City Councils) and support in technical meetings.
  • Preparation of reports, minutes and reports.
  • University degree (also former Diploma and Bachelor’s degree) in Civil Engineering, Civil, Forestry, Environmental or other related engineering
  • Minimum demonstrable experience of 3 years in the tasks previously described.
  • Training/experience in Environmental Impact Assessment procedures.
  • Training/experience of coastal regulations and regime of the maritime-terrestrial public domain.
  • Advanced management of GIS (QGIS/ARCGIS), CAD and office automation.
  • Basic notions of artificial intelligence applied to the analysis of environmental data.
  • Experience in restoration of coastal wetlands, marshes, salt flats or estuaries.
  • Experience in projects processed in the field of the Maritime-Terrestrial Public Domain.
  • Knowledge of the coastal regulations and the Law on Public Sector Contracts.
  • Use of hydrological or hydrodynamic modelling tools.
  • Experience in European projects (LIFE, Interreg, etc.).
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of HEAD.
  • Date of incorporation: From April 2026.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €42,712.87
  • Maximum expected duration: until March 2036
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
