Effective execution of the communication, awareness-raising and environmental education tasks of the LIFE HumedalES project (See annex 1) and other projects with European funding from the Area of Conservation and Restoration of Ecosystems.

  • Preparation and implementation of the communication strategy of LIFE Wetlands, as well as the awareness-raising and environmental education actions provided for therein.
  • Creation of content for the design of the project’s website and its updating. Preparation of news and other resources. Support in the development of content for the Biodiversity Foundation website.
  • Drafting of press releases, news, articles, speeches, arguments and bulletins, reports, tribunes and interviews, among other contents.
  • Management, writing and monitoring of institutional, awareness-raising and environmental education materials (brochures, exhibitions, teaching units, publications, etc.).
  • Monthly monitoring of results for the reporting of indicators of web pages, social networks and media impacts. Preparation of press clipping.
  • Liaison with the media and updating of the sector’s media databases.
  • Preparation of reports, text and style revisions.
  • Content writing for the design of infographics, creativities, videos and materials designed about the projects.
  • Management of audiovisual resources, preparation of video scripts, rundowns and search for images of the project Editing of video pieces. Taking photographs.
  • Development of proprietary content for dissemination in the digital environments of the Fundación Biodiversidad. Creation of content about the project for the social networks of the Biodiversity Foundation.
  • Organization of public events, workshops, conferences and seminars planned within the framework of the projects.
  • Management with suppliers and performance of contracting tasks related to the communication actions of the projects.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Coordination of the Area of Conservation and Restoration of Ecosystems, the Communication Area, Subdirection and/or Direction.
  • University degree in Journalism or equivalent.
  • Average professional proficiency in English (spoken and written). There will be a language test, which may be oral or written.
  • Willingness to travel. The availability or not to travel must be expressly indicated in the CV.
  • At least three years of experience in science and/or environmental communication.
  • At least two years of experience in communication, awareness and/or education of European projects.
  • Knowledge of online content management software applications (WordPress).
  • Experience or training in social media, design and layout, photography, text and video editing.
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of FIRST TECHNICIAN.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €33,373.05.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Expected duration: until March 2036.
